Liceo Leadership Opportunities


Students’ involvement and responsibility are an important part of the Liceo program. Liceo students are active in the organization of their Government Council. Every year students elect a president and vice president among candidates of their senior class, whereas the treasurer and the secretary are chosen among sophomores and juniors. In addition, each class chooses one representative. All selected students serve for a one-year term. Their responsibilities are various: they organize students sponsored activities, they act as liaisons between students and faculty, and they also cooperate with the Administration during school activities, such as the Gala. The Government Council holds a monthly general assembly to discuss school issues and plan events.
