“Our teachers allow us to collaborate and to have useful homework”(Grade 4 Student)

Our Primary Years students start their journey from Grade 1 and grow to become independent learners in Grade 5.

Our primary students start their day at 8:20 a.m., and they are challenged to learn skills and behaviors in the following subject areas: English, Italian, Mathematics, Sciences, World History, Geography, Visual Arts, Music, Physical Education, and a third language (currently French). Two homeroom teachers are responsible for communicating with families and meeting with class reps, while subject specialists have allocated periods throughout the week.

The school day ends at 2:50 p.m.; however, Afterschool and Aftercare are organized until 6:00 p.m. each day of the week with a minimum participation of five (5) students for each activity. There are currently 28 Afterschool activities ranging from Japanese to coding, from martial arts to language support and homework.

Starting September 2024, the regular school day will begin at 8:25 and end at 3:30 to allow students to take advantage of an extended curricular offer adding Musical Theatre and Spanish.
