In what grades do you accept new students?
We accept applications for grades Pre-K through 9th if we have a vacancy for academic year 2008-2009. Those applicants wishing to enter grades 10, 11, and 12 must meet La Scuola d’Italia’s academic requirements.


Is knowledge of the Italian language necessary?
For Pre-K through 9th grade knowledge of the Italian language is not a prerequisite. Special courses in Italian as a second language are offered to Anglophone students in grades 1 through 9th. Liceo students must possess knowledge of the Italian language at intermediate level.


At what age do you accept Pre-school children?
Students admitted to Pre-K 3 must be 3 years old by December 31st and toilet trained; students admitted to K must be 5 years old by December 31st of the school year; students admitted to first grade must be 6 years old by March 30 of the school year.


Do only Italian students enroll in the school?
La Scuola d’Italia is an English/Italian bilingual school attended by an international student population. Presently, at the lower school, 60% of the students are Americans.


At what colleges do La Scuola d’Italia students enroll?
Our graduates attend North America as well as European Union colleges and Universities.


Is there an after school program?
Yes. A variety of activities are offered in the after school program for an additional fee.
